Hello, my name is Jihye Choi.

I am a UX and product designer from Seoul, and I focus on creating interactions that connect physical experiences with digital systems.

My interest in design started from something very small. I have always enjoyed observing people. I notice what they eat, what they wear, and what kinds of music or movies they enjoy. When I was younger, some people felt a little overwhelmed by how closely I paid attention. But when they opened up and started talking to me, something natural happened. While I talked with them, I found myself understanding their habits, their preferences, and the little patterns in how they behave. Over time, this became a repetitive practice for me, and I realized how much I enjoyed understanding people through both observation and conversation.

Eventually, I understood that this wasn’t just a personal habit. It was something I could use in my work. When I discovered UX design, it immediately felt like the right fit because it brings together curiosity about people, behavioral insight, and problem-solving.

As a designer, I’m persistent, detail-oriented, and I like exploring a problem until I fully understand it. I also enjoy working with others, and people I’ve collaborated with often say that I bring both focus and energy to a team. I want to keep exploring how small human behaviors can inspire intuitive and meaningful interactions.
These experiences shaped the way I design today: noticing the small things, understanding behaviors, and turning them into systems that feel intuitive and human.
That’s the perspective I bring into my projects, and it’s the foundation of the work you’ll see in my portfolio.I’m excited to continue growing through this lens and discovering new ways to design meaningful interactions.
